Meet the Druid

A grounded life has as many branches as the mighty oak.

I’m Donald Garcia-Dwyer.

I live in Oak Creek, Wisconsin, with my husband, Raymundo. Our household has been shaped by teaching, international exchange, ambitious creative projects, shared meals, and the young people from other countries who have become part of our extended family.

My interests refuse to remain on separate branches. Druidry leads me toward local ecology, earth-based spirituality, and old stories. Travel becomes a study of hospitality. Books open questions about ritual, history, faith, family, and the ways people make meaning together.

The Druid of Oak Creek is where those branches meet. It is a personal blog, not an institutional voice: part essay collection, part review ledger, part local almanac, and part record of a household trying to live generously and with attention.
